Foreign property prices 'a lot lower'

Property prices abroad are "generally a lot lower" than in the UK and represent a good investment option, Deposit Alternative has said.
With many people being priced out the property market in the UK, Phil Jones, a spokesperson for the company, says that buying abroad is definitely a good alternative.
"The property prices are generally a lot lower and a lot of people can always buy property and sell it in a short space of time. They could then bring that money back to the UK if they wanted to and could potentially use that as a large deposit on a UK property," said Mr Jones.
Earlier this month, Off Plan International highlighted Isla Margarita as a good place to invest at the moment.
Isla Margarita has a tax free status and property investors can take advantage of not having to pay local income taxes.
According to Simply Global Properties, the Venezuelan island has negligible property taxes and is also a duty free zone.
