Number of overseas property buyers growing 'steeply'

Brought to you by Emerging Earth, at the forefront of International property investment.

The number of people buying property abroad has risen sharply over the past five years, according to the BuyAssociation.

According to the property specialist, the number of people heading to foreign shores and investing their money in housing has grown steadily over the past two decades, but there has been a steep increase in recent years.

Foreign property editor of the website, Paul Collins, said that one reason for people turning to overseas property may be that they "have invested elsewhere but they don't necessarily trust other traditional routes of investment".

According to Nubricks.com, the number of people buying abroad is set to soar. Quoting research from Datamonitor, the website states that the overseas property market is expected to double in value over the next four years.

The website also recently highlighted the Venezuelan island of Margarita as being a top spot for investment.

According to Nubricks.com, the island is likely to soon become one of "the Caribbean's most appealing destinations".
