Property is a 'very good investment', says expert
Brought to you by Emerging Earth, introducing the next generation of overseas property investment.
People may be concerned about where to invest their money, particularly during the current economic downturn in the UK, but an expert has advised that property "is a very good investment".
The BuyAssociation's property editor, Paul Collins, emphasised that buying property in another country could be a good option because people "often get more for their money overseas".
One destination which has recently been highlighted by property experts David Stanley Redfern as a "the latest property investment phenomenon" is Isla Margarita, located off the north-east coast of Venezuela.
Liam Bailey, a spokesperson for the company, predicted: "Margarita is one of the few truly early-bird investment opportunities on the global market".
He explained that those who buy property on the island now will be able to double their investment in four years or less.
Bailey reasoned that low property prices on the island would enable investors to charge people less than in other Caribbean destinations while still achieving "at least an eight per cent yield".
