It's a 'fantastic time' to buy overseas property, says expert

BuyAssociation has said that UK buyers who have the funds and do not need to secure finance should consider investing their money in overseas property.
Paul Collins, property editor at the property advice website, said that now is "a fantastic time" to buy housing in another country, particularly in markets where good deals can be found.
He added that those who have invested in property for the medium or long-term should try to rent it out to maintain a high property value.
Mr Collins also pointed out that "property markets are cyclical" and housing may increase in value in the future.
The Dominican Republic was recently singled out as a particularly good place for people to buy property due to "millions of dollars" of investment in tourism infrastructure.
