'Good time to invest' in top-class foreign property

Buying high-quality foreign property in a good location is likely to be a sound investment, an industry website editor has said.
The key factor for investors in current markets is to ensure they purchase quality property, according to Paul Collins of the BuyAssociation website.
He stated there are currently some "great deals" available to the foreign property investor.
Mr Collins added: "Quality property in any market will always sell well because it is the most desirable - it's what people want."
Meanwhile, any UK foreign property-buyers considering Caribbean off-plan property investments may be interested to note the findings of a Cruise Lines International Association survey reported in the International Herald Tribune, saying the region is still a top destination for cruises.
The newspaper reports Carolyn Spencer Brown, editor-in-chief of CruiseCritic.com, has said that one cruise ship, the Carnival Freedom, is being moved from its intended itinerary in the Mediterranean and is instead taking up a year-round position in the Caribbean.
