Isla Margarita property investment is good for people who are looking for a short-term investment, asserts one expert.

According to David Stanley Redfern, prices in the region have increased by 32 per cent annually in the past two years, while its potential as a tourist resort means that rental yields remain high, with the company forecasting yields of between eight and 12 per cent.

It also praises the island's "lush vegetation", "golden white sandy beaches" and warm weather conditions as aspects enticing both holidaymakers and investors, stating: "It is the perfect place to holiday in and to make substantial rental income from."

Furthermore, getting to the holiday destination is "easy", according to David Stanley Redfern, which notes there are direct flights from Gatwick and Manchester and 18 indirect routes from the UK.
